Following my predictable rural theme's, in this body of work I have had more fun than ever with the colour palette, mixing up mediums and embracing other subjects. I am finding more and more that I want to depict (or visually shout about!) the joy I get from rural living and it's colourful, character-filled inhabitants. 

I hope to see you there for a cool, casual catch up and art viewing.

Very excited to be heading back to The Artist's Room in Dunedin for a solo show this May. I am still frantically splashing, slapping and scratching around in the studio to create a bold new body of work, but happy with the progress so far. I was in some esteemed company so was humbled to receive the award. Judges Leigh Melville and Jamie Hanton described it as "a highly composed bovine portrait which packed a lot of action into a small space". Yay!
